To provide for the best for the future means careful planning and investment. We want to give your child a head start. This is borne out by our Ofsted Inspection for Early Years Provision in Nursery and Reception 2008. All areas were judged to be ‘outstanding’ and the report commented ‘all children are well motivated by staff who provide a dynamic and vibrant environment where children relish their time within the school environment. The staff are committed to ensuring children reach their full potential’. There is so much to offer at St Hilary’s for your child to enjoy: specialist teaching in Upper School, a broad curriculum, excellent facilities including a superb extra-curricular programme, superb all-weather pitch, Music Room, Science laboratory, Hall, Library, Hiorns Centre, modern ICT suite and equipment throughout. The whole school inspection judged that St Hilary’s provides ‘high quality well-rounded education within an environment in which pupils can develop, be happy and flourish.’ Above all, we have an excellent record of successes over transfer to both boys' preparatory and girls' senior schools with many pupils winning scholarships. We have the advantage of being independent and are therefore able to match each child to the appropriate school for him or her. In a rapidly changing twenty-first century it is difficult for any website and prospectus to keep up-to-date and no informative literature can replace the value of direct experience.
