Your child deserves the best education available and the chance to gain in self esteem whilst receiving a firm foundation of knowledge and understanding in all subjects. To provide the best for the future means careful planning and investment. We want to give your child a head start. St Hilary's has seen many changes in recent years including the complete refurbishment of the science laboratory, library, hall with stage and brand new stage system, the provision of two additional classrooms and a superb all-weather pitch. Most recently we have installed a new ICT suite and continue to develop our very good ICT facilities so that pupils are fully equipped for their future lives. As an accredited school by Investors in People we have a commitment to professional staff development.Our most recent inspection report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate in 2006 praised the school for its: “high quality, well-rounded education within an environment in which pupils can develop, be happy and flourish”. Above all, we have an excellent record of successes over transfer to both boys' preparatory and girls' senior schools with many pupils winning scholarships. We have the advantage of being independent and are therefore able to match each child to the appropriate school for him or her. In a rapidly changing twenty-first century it is difficult for any website and prospectus to keep up-to-date and no informative literature can replace the value of direct experience.
