Adverse weather procedure

The school will make every effort to remain open and operate normally during periods of adverse weather.

The Headmistress will endeavour to make a decision by 7.00am on any morning if the school is to be closed.  This will be determined by the condition of local roads and access to the site itself.  The decision to close will be posted on the school's website and will be sent as a text message by Clarion Call to all primary contacts.  If possible, Eagle Radio will also be informed.

If conditions are uncertain but the school remains open, this will also be notified as close as possible to 7.00am but, in the absence of notification of closure, parents should assume that the school will be open.

Subsequent daily or more frequent updates, including of the school reopening, will be posted onto the website and sent as a text message by Clarion Call to all primary contacts.
