P.E and Games
Physical Education and Games feature highly at St Hilary’s. It is taught by three P.E specialists and a club swimming coach. Although participation features highly, there are teams that take part against other schools and in tournaments within Surrey with a more competitive nature.
The PE department gives all pupils equality of opportunity to participate in a broad and balanced range of activities. All pupils experience a variety of competitive and challenging situations. Through enjoyable learning experiences, we hope to foster a positive attitude towards physical activity, an increase in self confidence and a feeling of achievement. The Physical Education Department endorses whole heartedly the aim of helping pupils reach their full potential at St Hilary’s school.
In order to achieve these aims the physical education syllabus provides a balanced programme of activities that will give the children knowledge, skills and understanding in the five areas of study.
