Mr Simon Allen MA MEd
Simon read Modern Languages at Selwyn College, Cambridge. He now teaches Spanish at Charterhouse and is senior tutor, overseeing the academic performance of all pupils in the school as well as the delivery of tutoring by colleagues. He has also coached football and cricket and has the FA Level 3 coaching award. His interests include birds, natural history, travel sport and Latin American literature and culture. Both his children have attended St Hilary's School.
Mrs V Powell LRAM ARCM DipEd
Veronica is a retired music teacher, teaching general music for seven years in maintained schools and then for 33 years taught piano at Lanesborough School, Guildford. She is now involved with music societies in the locality and extremely keen on the performing arts, travel and sport. Her two daughters attended St Hilary's School.
Mrs S Sims BEd (Hons) (Cantab)
Sue trained at Homerton College, Cambridge, securing a certificate in education in 1976 and a bachelor in education degree from Newnham College. She currently works as head of art at a girls' prep school in Surrey. Sue has two daughters, enjoys pilates, arts and crafts, visits to antique fairs in search of pieces to renovate, walking and cycling.
Mr F Sullivan MA (Oxon) MSc
Francis has a masters degree from Oxford university and has worked at HSBC's head office in Canary Wharf since 2004. His two daughters attended St Hilary's School and benefitted enormously from the supportive educational environment. Both girls won scholarships to Frensham Heights. He is a keen runner (but would not call himself an athlete...).
